Principal Investigator
Dr. Zhizhan Gu, M.D., Ph.D. was trained as an immunologist, cell biologist, physiologist & pharmacologist. He received his M.D. degree in Clinical Medicine at Fudan University Medical School (Shanghai, China) in 2002, and then his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Pharmacology, Physiology & Biotechnology at Brown University (Providence, RI, USA) in 2007 under the guidance of his Ph.D. advisor Dr. Chi-Ming Hai. Subsequently, Dr. Gu completed his 5-year postdoctoral fellowship training in The Laboratory of Dr. Michael B. Brenner (USA-NAS member) at Harvard Medical School – Brigham & Women's Hospital (Boston, MA, USA) in immunology.
